The Fisher King 1991

Len Fearnside’s review:
A fantastic tale about love, loss, friendship, and humanity, presented in a way only Gilliam can. It is a bit dated now, particularly in the beginning, but once it gets rolling, Bridges and Williams escort you through this world with confidence, running you through a full range of emotions, with some fun and absurdity thrown in for good measure. By the end I was fully invested with everyone and I'd be lying if I wasn't moved by the film and Perry's journey in-particular.
