Kevin Nix’s review:
I had extremely low expectations for Ted, having grown tired of Seth MacFarlane and his empire of TV sitcoms and one-note jokes. But watching this movie, I found it hard to deny his immutable voice and was forced to reconcile that, for all his faults, MacFarlane & Co. have left an indelible mark on the pop culture, and indeed our perception of humor and what we consider funny in the media. This film reminds me why we fell in love with Family Guy in the first place, and cements MacFarlane's place in history as one of this generation's most influential satirists. Bravo.
