A Western retelling the tale of the Shoot-out at the OK Corral.

Alan Mowbray as the Shakespearean actor Granville Thorndyke is both the best & the most important part of this movie, reminding the audience that the world is a stage, especially if it's standing on a table, on a Western stage, on a studio lot, on the screen. The historical inaccuracies don't matter - all that matters is the story, the legend of Wyatt Earp and John Ford's decisions as a director on what will please his audience. I may not have loved where the story went at times, but I loved the experience. A very good Western.
