Sergejs Timonins’s review:
Some nice visuals and exotic locales (for westerners) can't overcome cliched plot and illogical characters. When Mr. Bekmambetov promised to bring Hollywood to Moscow, we expected that movies will acquire some of the finest russian filmmaking flair, not the other way around. It's nice to see future Robocop Joel Kinnaman though.
only good thing about this movie was the Moscow scenery and what a shame that Emile Hirsch wastes his time on projects like this one.
And it was nice to see Mr. Kucenko in Hollywood movie, albeit it was nicer for his carreer than for the moviegoers ;)
