It seems like such a long time I've seen this film, but it truly has! I watched it on the plane ride from the US to Japan during the summer of 2007. It was either this or How I Met Your Mother, which I ended up watching as well. It's a sweet film that also is quirky. The most vivid memory of the film is "I thought I'd never fall in love again, but then... POP! Goes my heart." That ended up being a major theme for us exchange kids during the trip. I'd love to watch it again to see how much my opion has changed.
