Somewhat arthouse look into the window of a cannibalistic mexican family bestowed with grief over the sudden disruption in their family's hierarchy after the father passes. The pacing didn't bother me. There is plenty of screaming and gore for those wanting it. The color saturation was very pretty, so much at times that it felt like I was watching a French film for some reason. What can I say? I dug it.
