A thoughtful but bland attempt. Showcasing a decent performance from the cast. The movie is well made but lacks the sort of depth or emotion one expects from this type of movie.

My second attempt to watch this paid off, the first one went by me sleeping nearly 10 minutes into the movie.

After watching this I was like "WOW". It is a very heart warming rom-com, one of the better ones I have seen for some time. What highlights this, is the assembled cast and their performance. Even though the movie works its way through a predictable plot, it works in their favor as we find ourselves wishing the movie climaxes as we hope.

I just had to write a brief review for this. And guess what Lawrence gets her first oscar. Job well done.

The dialogs, the screenplay, the cinematography, the acting, the music, the direction, every damn fucking thing about this movie is awesome.
