Visual Treat ....
There are quite a lot of movies out there that have exceptional Cinematography, CGI etc. Even if a movie isn't great over all ... some just amazes you with visual extravaganza.
Here is a list of movies I have watch or I want to watch ... because of the visual beauty.

Days of Heaven - a crime to not be mentioned. And while I'm here, the good the bad and the ugly & once upon a time in the west.
Ridley Scott's Legend is definitely a visual treat, that's about it though. Watch it on mute.
Although all his films have some level of exceptional visuals, I'd also recommenf adding Argento's Suspiria and Deep Red in particular
@Alistair: Speaking about bad movies. Ultraviolet. Pretty much all visuals. In many ways a spiritual prequel to Sucker Punch.

@emmadeliefje I'm quite sure about Requiem for a dream, it was pretty hard to watch .. well for me .. but yes it does have some amazing cinematography. will add it though .. seems like some else also suggested that .

@Unmi Once upon a time is the same. And I only found out about Days of Heaven from this site - its just a beautiful film.
