2 Fast 2 Furious 2003
It's probably been about 8 years since I last watched 2 Fast 2 Furious, but this movie used to be my jam. It was in a rotation of a handful of movies of similar quality that I would watch over and over. I have no idea how it would hold up now, but man did I love this when I was 14. And Ludacris is in it! He sings Act A Fool! Great movie. 5/5.

Alien³ 1992
*it should be noted that I've never seen the theatrical release, only the special edition "Assembly Cut."*
Much like Prometheus, many of the problems with Alien 3 seemingly evaporate upon a rewatch. Tonally speaking it rivals the original Alien film, and it is now my second favorite of the series. There are still a few issues, namely the special effects.
The rod puppet work looks pretty good, but the compositing is just horrendous. Like, Syfy TV movie bad. Sadly it…

Prometheus 2012
In truth, I'm not really surprised about all the complaints surrounding this film; it's definitely a movie that asks you to meet it half-way.
Because of that, however, it allows the viewer (or at least, this viewer) to form a relationship with it. It's one of only a handful of films that I love to love.

Side by Side 2012
Given that this is 90 minutes, I was very surprised by how thoroughly the film covers the impact of digital on all facets of filmmaking.
Keanu Reeves seems like a weird guy.
I could listen to David Fincher talk about anything for any amount of time. I love that guy.
