Quick thoughts: confusing, dialogue is TERRIBLE (what is with everything being repeated? why is everything repeated? <--- kind of example of how terrible the dialogue is), and even Kilmer's acting couldn't carry this one through to the end.
The repetition is a Mamet trademark; everything he does features that. It's a stylistic tic that you either love or hate.
I guess it's a tic that I hate. ;) I guess if it was used more sparingly it might have had a better effect, but I just found that it pulled me out of the scene and made me think about how terrible the dialogue was. ;(
