Overly saccharine writing, stilted dialogue, weak acting and worst of all, you never really get the sense of Saint Thérèse as a real person and a three-dimensional character. You see some of her growth as a person and her struggles, but I think the film mostly falls flat on this point. You're probably better off reading Story of A Soul, Thérèse's autobiography.

As a creative person and a Muppet-lover for as long as I can remember, this film was immensely inspiring. Kevin Clash's journey is something dreams are made of - but also a lot of talent and a lot of hard work. Seeing how his life's passion has become so fulfilling in so many ways is a joy. The waterworks were never far away throughout!
