LaFemmeNisita’s review:
I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. The story was compelling and somehow very relatable even though I haven't been through the exact experience. Maybe a testament to the similarities in all relationships and human nature. The movie itself was interestingly done... with soliloquies, overlaid scenes, and witty banter. Maybe, I should say, witty whining.
Woody Allen is like that friend who you always are on the verge of knocking upside the head, but you never do, 'cause right when he pushes you to the brink he says something really funny, endearing and/or brilliant. Witty whining is a perfect encapsulation of that. I doff my hat to you Ma'am and your goat.
