What an utter load of bollocks.

A tense, bleak thriller that begins as a chase movie but ends as a discussion of mortality.

I shall try to be as fair about this as possible. I don't hate this film entirely (I'd rather sit through this than Avatar) but it's not a classic either. The things that I like - the love story is effective, (though it's obviously heightened a good bit by the inevitable tragedy) most of the technical film-making work is good, the whole upper class malaise with life thread being done right. The things I do not like - The soundtrack, most of the key "iconic" moments, the film is too overlong and it's cheesy sense of self-importance. Still, could be worse. Could be Jack and Jill.

A twisting psychological thriller that slowly reveals the details in the tale as it goes along, despite the reversed chronological order. It starts off strong and gets better as it continues to flesh out its story.
