Just manages to edge past the first one in my eyes, a smarter story with some excellent scenes and Robert Downey Jr is just amazing again as the detective, this time pitted against his arch nemisis and equal James Moriarty!

Mel Gibson plays well as the American criminal locked up in a Mexican prison town with his tongue stuck firmly in cheek, learning to survive by using the enviroment. Plenty of humour and great bursts of action. I love the way Gibsons character narrates the film throughout.

What a classic, dont know how many times i've seen this but it still cracks me up and I just love the acting from both Simon Pegg and Nick Frost!

A very oddly paced film, seemed like I was watching this film for a very long time, especially the middle section seemed to move very slowly. But what a stunning performance from Michael Shannon, who I havent really seen much of before, must get round to watching Boardwalk Empire and now looking forward to his take on Zod in Man of Steel! The only downside to this film is not being able to see the full scale of the storm which would have looked spectacular as you can see from the glimpses you do get from his dreams.
