    Tim Burton creates a gothic dystopian city of Gotham, which is complex and darkly beautiful. This backdrop is a bit of a contrast to the story, which is a lot less complicated yet just as compelling. The first dark superhero film that set the tone for many more hero films to come.

    So, after all my preperation for the this films release, I finally got to see what I was preparing for. "Split" is a weird yet enjoyable viewing experience.     I was really wondering how a story as mundane and incomprehensively stupid could ever exist. Then, in the final credits, it read "Story by Will Smith". Makes sense now.
