Nick Britton’s review:
I struggle with this movie. What happened in Rwanda while the world sat back and did nothing cannot be represented in a film (read We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed with Our Families to get a better idea). But this movie just doesn't show anything, like the writers felt worried that audiences wouldn't really believe the true insanity of the Hutu's systematic slaughter of the Tutsis. I think this is one of those cases where no movie is better than any movie. I can't say I hated this movie, but the more I know about the reality of the situation, the less I like this movie.
