I mentioned to my girlfriend while watching this movie that it felt like a bit of a copy or a distant cousin of Gattaca - wouldn't you know it, same director.

Not a bad movie, nice idea, but weird that the same director would do another movie with a similar, noir, retro kind of feel.

I really did not understand how the arm wrestling thing worked though (not a spoiler!), it just made no sense. And the wrist-watch/time display on the arm thing was just so far outside the realms of possibility, it just annoyed me.

But, you know, I liked it ok I guess.
