Amadeus 1984
A fictional account of something we can all relate to but deny: the very human fear of mediocrity, and the overwhelming envy for someone whose success has come very easily, so ultimately we come to sympathize with Salieri's suffering. In this context, and also for the stunning art direction and acting, a totally engaging film.

The Warriors 1979
Widerscreenings said it so eloquently, so all I can say is I love this film. And for what? For a lit.tle piece. of TURF.

The Holy Mountain 1973
I first saw this film when i was a teenager, very late one night, on public television (Canal 22?) in Mexico City. Bizarre, symbolic, holy and unholy. And beautiful. All rolled up to define Life whether we like the definition or not.
