Tim Portis’s review:
Magnificent conclusion to the Nolan trilogy.
If Batman was the star of Batman Begins and The Joker ruled The Dark Knight, then this film is the story of Bruce Wayne .
Awesome and audacious filmmaking at the highest level.
Looking forward to seeing this. I'm hoping I'm on the same page as you are about it.
I read, Bane is a scene-stealer. Wow...Hopefully this will be Nolan's masterpiece. Can't wait to watch it on Friday!...Yeay..
No spoilers here, but Bane is a real monster. My only criticism would be that the middle section could have been edited down. I wouldn't put this above The Dark Knight but it comes close.
Watched it tonight Tim.
Magnificent conclusion to the Nolan trilogy.
Indeed!
Tim. What did you think to Banes voice?
I understood almost everything though he did sound as though he had wet cotton wool in his mouth throughout. He was a lot more intelligible than he was back in December when the prologue was first released. What did you think?
Banes voice was a problem for me in the first half until I got really used to it, hopefully they can touch it up for the DVD/Bluray release? Loved it regardless
I found him easy to understand but I just didnt like the sound of it, it did not suit the way he looked and seemed to be a lot louder than everyone elses voices, especially the first scene on the plane where everyone is shouting due to the door being open.
I loved his voice. I may be bias. Huge Nolan fan. Hi. :)
I found Bane tricky to understand not just because of the mask but sometimes the music - as good as is - was too loud in places.
Still loved the film though.
