Jersey Shore Shark Attack 2012

Adam Cook’s review:
Having never watched a single second of Jersey Shore I feel I am missing a whole layer of parody here as I have no idea who these actors are pretending to be. Of course it is still obvious that this film has its tongue firmly in cheek throughout as we get a bunch of dumb Guidos trying to outwit albino killer sharks. Yet bizarrely none of the Jersey Shore facsimiles actually get eaten by a shark which is surely why most people would tune in to watch such a film? Even with this obvious oversight the film is actually pretty entertaining thanks to its unwavering crappiness.
The Syfy Channel seem to have outdone themselves once again with the special effects. When you think they can’t possibly get any worse they manage to spend even less money. The woeful CGI is most certainly a blessing though as it adds to the generally naff charm of the film. The jokes - as sophisticated as the characters the film lampoons - hit their mark most of the time, no doubt thanks to the fact their mark is so easy to hit. The movie contains a bunch of famous cameos which are both depressing and amusing in equal measure whilst the climax is as ridiculous as it should be. Unlike a lot of the waterbound Syfy movies this actually lives up to its frankly idiotic concept.
This is a real movie, wow, I thought it was a parody by YouTubers or something!
I wish it was a docu about the "real" Jersey Shore cast being eaten by sharks. THAT I'd watch.
Well it is basically like a feature length YouTube parody video.
