This list has been incredibly difficult to compile let alone rank. I have a horrible feeling I've missed some notable movies along the way but here are my 100 favourite horror films (with a strong bias towards the '70s and '80s).

Yep. Spotted it on Amazon this morning. End of February.
Just watched "The Evil Dead" for the first time in at least a decade and a half and wanted to see where it ranks for you. There it is at 54. Not too shabby.
