Child's Play 1988

Luke Scott’s review:
Storyline was thin as cardboard, acting was average and the events that took place were predictable. I gave this a shot after seeing many times the "Night of the living dummy" of the Goosebumps series (a childhood classic and always a great watch) but Childs play just didn’t do it for me. Boring it was. Not bad for a laugh and a "WTF" moment but other than that, Eh. Took 60 minutes for the film to get started (and it is only a 100 minute-long film).
WTF BTW IMHO meh review. I suppose this review indicates that maybe I should 'never' watch this film, and where does the one and half stars come into place if it was 'as thin as cardboard'.
thin means lacklustre. but a talking,killer-doll always gets some brownie points
Still, 1.5 stars is not justified because of WTF moments.
Right......
write?
