Luke Parry’s review published on Letterboxd :
The film is a geek's wet dream, but with a slow and shakey start The Avengers takes far too long to build momentum. It is a difficult concept: wrapping together three other franchise's into one, and, for most of the film your served with semi sequels, not a new film entirely. When the third act does come in to play, the film does actually begin to build, and become something brilliant. The action and set pieces are second to none, and Downey Jr steals every scene he's in, only second to the Hulks brief, yet brilliant appearances. The film isn't great, but, that's not going to stop anyone seeing it. It's worth a watch just for the Hulk.
