Storage 24 2013 ★½

Watched Jun 29, 2012

The only real good thing about this movie is Noel Clarke and even he can do better than this. The movie was too predictable in places and there wasn't really much too it.

So, some crazy monster takes over a 24 hour storage place and picks people off one by one, the same routine. Sure, the monster/alien/creature was impressive looking and the CGI wasn't all that bad but the jumps and gore were out of control and this alien would surely be able to catch up with the humans when they attempt to 'run away'. The ending is just laughable with a fake London being bombed, and all the famous landmarks appear to all be lined up next to each other (just to remind people that we're in London).

And don't get me started on the acting. Noel Clarke is decent enough but I think I've seen better from him before. Laura Haddock as Nikki was the only real bit of eye candy in this movie yet her character didn't really contribute much. However, Antonia Campbell-Hughes as Shelley was quite literally the worst person to cast. Wooden acting and wooden face. I quite disliked her.

Go see for some laughs and some jumps but not the best film I've seen for a while.
