Dorian Gray 2009

Paolo Fausone’s review:
This movie is already an insult just for the simple idea of trying to make an adaptation without considering the meaning of the original novel, not considering the overall poverty of the plot.
I would say it is a very peculiar example of American catastrophic attempt to make amazing classics appealing to simple-minded audiences.
The only reason it does not attain my esteem to the original work by Oscar Wilde is that there is no trace of link to it.
And besides, it's awful even if considered simply as an action movie.
