Can you trust your alien?

Movie was ok, but I am not sure that it would be Oscar worthy. :/

Alien: YOLO *nom nom nom*

So much hype with this movie, I was really disappointed. The acting was really wonderful but I just found the story to be really slow and tiresome. I guess you have to be in the mood for drama.

That is not to say I do not understand that to American viewers this movie would have huge historical significance. As an Australian we are not taught strictly of American history in school but rather through cultural avenues such as movies/tv/music and discussion.

I might have liked this movie, if it didn't have singing.

The idea was great, but the way it was filmed, not so much. :/

This was interesting, it just felt kind of dull. I loved Brad Pit and Ben Mendelsohn.

I do not understand HOW Kristen Stewart could be considered even on par with Charlize Theron, let alone prettier (wtf?). If I wasn't constantly thinking about that, I might have enjoyed this film. ;p

So many things I loved about this movie. Top priority, Tom Hardy and his voice and Gary Oldman and his evil-sexy-I -just-gunned-down-some-homies wink.

Line I loved most, "I thought I walked".

An intense film that challenges a dark subject and stays with you long after you have watched it.
