The newly restored and first Blu-ray/DVD issue of this historic film is impressive to say the least. The score blew me away and I had forgotten the epic running time of this early gem. Let's just say, i'm glad I own it.

By all means this is not a great script or wise casting choice, but the infallible Bette Davis tackles it with aplomb. I'll never forget her furious portrayal of Rosa Moline in this hard to find classic which features the famed line, "What a dump!"
