  • The Godfather 1972

    ★★★★½ Added

One of the most important films of all time. You cant help but pass judgement people who either haven't seen it or don't like it.

I am yet to see the perfect film, which is what a 5 star would be...but this comes so close to it for me. Cant say any more than already has been said plus I run the risk of turning this into an essay of how much of a masterpiece The Godfather truly is. I know the second one gets all the praise but for me, the first one deserves all of the respect.

  • A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984

    ★★★½ Added

No one can argue that this is one of the most important horror films in cinema history. It may have lost some of its impact standing up next to the likes of Saw and Hostel, but it still gave us the icon Freddy Krueger! Robert England slices and dices while bringing a trade mark playful personality to the horror boogyman.

Decent HD version but it does tend to show up some of the dated effects. Sequels are not really worth bothering with but New Nightmare is an interesting twist on things and worth a viewing.

  • Our Idiot Brother 2011

    ★★★½ Added

You cant help but like Paul Rudd's character. He plays the nice guy perfectly. Great supporting cast. Don't expect anything major to happen, its just plods along nicely. Could get away calling it a chick flick if you have to watch one with the other half!

  • The Hidden 1987

    ★★★★ Added

Worth tracking down for the beginning car chase alone! Prime for a big budget remake I reckon!
