Dealing with time travel in movies is always a sticky situation. So much room for plot holes, and discussions of parallel universes, and ruining the space time continuum and blah blah blah. In my opinion, Rian Johnson did an excellent job in this film paying attention to every little detail to avoid this as much as possible, and at the same time creating a future that feels realistic and not too far out of reach.
