Call Me by Your Name 2017
Luca's ability to make you feel as if you where right there in the scene is undescriptable. You feel every scent, every sound, every fly, every little sound; the void, the emptyness. You can feel everything throughout the film. Also, Thimotée and Armie's chemistry is really plausible, how their friendship evolves in a coming-of-age romance really gives a lot of credibility to the story.
As Luca said, he already is letting the spectator know a lot about the character's lifes, their privacy, and it would be too much to show more intimacy, as it would feel unnatural, intrudingly.
