Marion’s review published on Letterboxd:
From this point on in the movies, I think I just saw them when they came out in theatres, and never since.
I forgot how incredibly boring this one was!
Sure the elements of comedy are relatively well done and I found myself laughing at quite a few things. But it feels like it's either or: either it's "ha ha" funny, or it is dead silent and gloomy. There is no in between (or when there is, it is incredibly badly done).
And can we talk about Ginny for a second? They butchered that character! Ginny is a strong girl who is brave, not afraid to speak her mind, and definitely has her own personality. Here, she feeds Harry like a baby and ties his shoelace for him. So basically, not only is she a dead-ringer for Harry's mom, now she acts like it too. Creepy.
I'm waiting to rewatch the last 2 movies, but so far, this one takes 1st place for my least favourite one of the bunch.
