Letterboxd — Your life in film

REAL

I expected a shit film and I got a slightly above average film, I was happy with my $2 rental.

REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD, AND I'M GONNA SAY IT.... CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!!!!!!

last month I dvr'd a bunch of old movies to rewatch and this was one of them. enjoyed it the first time when I saw it and enjoyed it again. I don't know why. maybe it's because of my aversion to church-y folks.

By far the best of the series, whiny Bella is replaced by kick ass witty Bella! Edward stops moaning and we actually see some exciting vampires from the Amazon etc. Filming and effects are well done, characters well developed and the twist at the end (for those who read the book too long ago to remember) is brilliant and shocking enough to pull a tear to my eye! There's the rumor that they changed the ending from the book but if I'm honest I can't remember the book since I read it soooo long ago!!! Oops!

Even though this movie features Bilbo Baggins as a porn star, Oskar Schindler dealing with a son who is insanely annoying, Domino Harvey & Rick Grimes having a stupid relationship that ends with Rick Grimes holding up poster boards, the king of England getting lost in translation, and Snape & Professor Trelawney falling out of love, it is still rather horrible.

One wonders why a Jedi would take such gruff.

I love a film when you wonder what the hell is going on but become so wrapped up in the thing that you don't care because it feels that unique,especially when it excels visually and in its performances.

It's better than the title suggests, but it's nothing to get excited about.
