Pure balls to the wall action is good coupled with the all too infrequent lines we came to know and love from previous instalments. However the already weak story is rushed, the "surprises" can be seen coming a mile off and the director has much to answer for in terms of some of the shots uses and what appears to be a love bordering on obsession with slow motion.

Unless you are a "die hard" ( please excuse the obvious pun) fan of the franchise this is one to pass up on.

Essential viewing for any video game fan. Also a surprisingly moving look at the dedication, commitment and deeply personal sacrifices made by these indie game developers who put their lives into their games.

Fantastic movie that on the surface is about man's encounter with UFOs but is even more about a man's breakdown. Great viewing.
