  • Burial Ground 1981

    ★★★★½ Watched 13 Apr, 2012 2

Quite simply one of the most stupidly funny movies i've seen in a very long time. This movies beyond dumb,it's so crazy and inept you can't help but love it. It's full of WTF moments and insane dialogue. I loved the music,it's so wrong for a movie like this,it's superbly bad. The simple fact they gave the role of a 12 year old boy to a dwarf in his late twenties, gives you an insight into what your going to get.…

  • The Incredible Melting Man 1977

    ★½ Rewatched 24 Mar, 2012 2

I watched this years ago back in my teens and i loved it. I couldn't get over seeing this guy melting away in front of your very eyes.I was glued to the screen. Re-watching it today and i really found it hard to focus on any of it. The FX are incredible when you consider when it was made and more importantly by whom. This was a early gig for legendary make-up artist Rick Baker. Apart from the make-up,there was very little to engage me this time round. It was very slow and tedious to sit through.

  • Inside 2007

    ★★★★½ Rewatched 07 Mar, 2012 22

This was a real surprise for me. When I first watched Inside i didn't know what to expect,i was completely unaware of this movie . It blew me away and i was riveted to my seat throughout the entire movie. It has real moments of dread and a couple of stand out scares that truly deliver. The FX's are creative and at times very realistic and it's drenched in so much blood and gore it should please most gore hounds…

  • 24 Hour Party People 2002

    ★★★★★ Rewatched 21 Mar, 2012 2

One of my favourite movies of the noughties. 24 Hour Party People is a fascinating account of the "Madchester" music scene of the late 80's early 90's. It focuses on Tony Wilson, TV show host and Co-founder to English record label Factory Records and founder and manager of the legendary nightclub The Hacienda.

You really do get the best of British talent here and all are on top form. Coogan is so good as Wilson, constantly breaking the forth wall with…
