Oh boy are all Ryan Gosling films like this? Like Drive, this film had so... much... silence.

Was nice though, cute film that didn't feel deliberately indie in the way that films like Little Miss Sunshine do.

An absolutely gorgeous film. The scary bits were very scary and the gruesome bits were oh my god gruesome. Being an Alien film, it had a final act that I didn't anticipate. I felt genuinely anxious when I realized it wasn't over. There were a few too many characters. At the very least, the two co-pilots could've been rolled into one person.

The first grown up sci-fi I've seen in a long time.

Y'know, the first one really is the best one.
