Hannibal would be a lot of fun if it only focused on the Italia portion of the film, where Sir Ridley gets to run wild and make the world's most expensive Giallo. Instead the story stops dead as we cut back and forth from Julianne Moore reading newspaper clippings in a basement somewhere in Washington DC and Hannibal making cannibal puns at the Opera. Although, it might be worth it for the man eating pigs.

Besides that, Gary Oldman and Ray Liotta are pretty hilarious.
