Kid With The Golden Arm 1979
Stripped-down plot involving gold shipment to a flood-stricken region and the bandits who want to steal it provides an efficient delivery system for some of the best fight scenes involving the legendary Venoms Mob and equally legendary director Chang Cheh. Then, it is my favorite wuxia film, so I'm a bit prejudiced.

The Grey 2012
What could have been a truly spectacular human spirit, will to survive, why we fight sort of film is blemished by some truly ham-fisted "big bad wolf" Hollywood clichés. Have Sword Will Travel 1969
Chang Cheh’s bloody and action-packed story of a wandering swordsman who help a family get revenge on a group of bandits. The final fight, a 30-minute epic battle that takes place as the hero climb further up a tower is crisply filmed and full of suspense and athleticism.

Crippled Avengers 1981
Five fighters are seriously wounded by an enemy and exact their revenge. It’s by-the-numbers, but the hero’s afflictions make it interesting, not to mention a villain’s henchman who has extendable iron arms. Campy and fun, but not without more serious fights and action.
