Very well executed Pixar-style but the story was certainly a bit different than the standard Pixar movie.

This film was weakend by almost no character development at all. Some say it's on purpose, but it makes the story hard to get into. It makes the film seem like just an event happened to some people. They tried introducing some background family life with the main character, but it didn't last long and did not have much effect. Interesting historical event, but mediocre film.

The story was pretty weak and I found it hard to sympathize with any of the characters. The soundtrack was nice, though. I can't quite tell if I liked the ending because it was over and they played a nice song, or if the ending was any good. I'm glad the ending wasn't awfully cheesy, like I expected, though.
