We’d like to believe that action figures can inspire a great movie. And certainly with the box office success (if not its quality) of the TRANSFORMERS franchise, it might still happen. This is Joe Cornish's picture debut and, wow, it does not disappoint at all. As soon as I finished watching the movie, I dubbed it as "the grown-up version of Super 8".
