Great sequel, ups the pace and in the first half lays the action on thick.

Holmes is a Saville Row Seagal whooping ass with a variety of styles that somehow seem plausible in Victorian London. Watson's foil is dependable and suitably weary and Harris is great as the wily arch villian Moriarty.

A special mention must be made regarding the crafting of this film, it is simply fantastic. Looks gorgeous, soundtrack is sweet and the editing is some of the best I've ever seen. Really fucking swish.

With Game of Shadows Ritchie's really proved he's got the balls and talent to join the elite of blockbuster film makers.
