Notorious as a video nasty Lustig's serial killer film is an extraordinarily grubby piece of work. It anticipates Henry in a lot of ways, especially in restricting the point of view to the killer and ditching any semblance of a thriller plot. Spinell makes for one of the least attractive screen killers, but there isnt really any depth to his plight, and the film has little of interest to say. Features gruesome Savini gore.
