Confronted with the question, which one film I would show to an extra-terrestrial visitor, I chose Sydney Lumet's "12 Angry Men".
For me, it shows, like no other film, the many different aspects of humanity through a clash of personalities - the emotional, violent, irrational side, but also the calm, deductive and most of all intelligent side.
The film is like humanity, truly multi-layered.
