A profound and heartfelt account of the Aids Epidemic in 1980s. The narrative is gentle and eloquent, yet extremely powerful. You really feel for the SF community, the LGBT community in particular.

I ended up feeling like Julie was using Julia. If that was what real life Julie intended, then this is a very good adaptation.

Is there anything that hasn't been said about this film?

I don't think they could've made it any better than this. And this is certainly very good. Gripping and extremely thoughtful.

Another story of teenage white boy doing whatever he wants and finds the meaning of life and a girlfriend in the process? Meh.

The philosophy inserted here seemed forced, and it really bored me. Amber Heard was pleasant to watch though.
