It managed to take the overused notion of a coming of age film and take it to a creepy area where daughters strip down in front of their mothers, who happen to be bathing in tubs with single digit aged daughters. The Cabin in the Woods 2012
I can usually find fault in any movie, even some of my faves. I was so content during the course of this Joss Whedon adventure, that I had no bad things to say. It's gorey. Its got jumps. Its got that tongue in cheek humor we know so well. All in all it's good times & totally worth seeing it over & over again.

Casa De Mi Padre 2012
It's a typical Will Ferrell movie, minus a lot of the faces you're used to seeing in his work, but it's (mostly) in Spanish. With its telenovela feel, it's clearly not a film that takes itself too seriously. Nor should it. The plot is weak, the props obvious and the sex just gets weird.
