A fantastic film that centres around a broken man and his struggle to simply exist. The entire film leads up to one of the most devastatingly beautiful endings ever. One of the best films I have ever seen.

Unabashedly Scottish film that has an uneven pacing. First half is heavy, gritty and upsetting which then gives way to whimsy and some heart-warming moments. Reminded me why I hate and love Scotland.

A curious film that fills the entire feature with dialogue which always feels important, but never explores why. Robert Pattinson showed off his best in the film and the final scene stuck with me for a long time, worth watching.

Won't do much to change the minds of those who dislike Wes Anderson but is an enjoyable tale of childish love.
