Following a bus crash, a nerdy projectionist/comic-book artist and a female nurse meet for the first time - in some kind of alternate dimension version of the small town they both grew up in. Some nice ideas are squandered on an indifferently directed, sluggish script that keeps slowing down to re-emphasise things that are obvious from what we've already seen.
