Nigel Floyd’s review:
Didn't tell me much I didn't know about the King of the Bs, but the makers have talked to just about everybody, from Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro, Bruce Dern and Pam Grier to Martin Scorsese, Joe Dante, John Sayles and Peter Bogdanovich. Judicious use of clips from actual films but not all the interviews are as illuminating as they could or should be. Brilliant Ron Howard anecdote about the groundbreaking TV sale of Grand Theft Auto, though. Sums up Corman's exploitation movie-making philosophy perfectly.
