A solid and classically shot thriller. So refreshing in comparison to shaky-cam fare.

I was really put off by the amount of destruction in the film. Seems Supes didn't care all that much about collateral damage.

Sure, much of the acting is terrible. The lead is completely bland. It's dated and sexist.

But I was charmed. The designs and visions on display took effort to put on screen, and it shows. The kitsch worked for me, and I wish they made more.

The premise shouldn't work, but it sure does. The antics and animation are more interesting than the overarching plot.
