    Unfortunately derivative and not that great, but Stephen Merchant is hot so it's watchable.

    It's been a long time since I've seen it and I can't believe how much of it I didn't remember. I always liked the film, but remembered it being quite cheesy and silly. It was surprisingly solid, with amazing effects, good visuals and balancing comedy and actual horror very well. Donovan Leitch also caught my eye when I was younger and was hotter than I remembered, but sadly wasn't in the film for very long - the rest of the cast is oddly exceptionally hideous.

    I was expecting more of a horror film going into this, but found it was really more of a black comedy with some horror elements. We follow Warren Thompson as he goes about a regular day and he’s obviously a very lonely man and possibly a little crazy. He’s very soft-spoken and has a limp, and fits the mold of an introverted character that’s going to go off the rails at any moment. It’s somewhat cliche, but Maynard’s performance prevents…
