    I'm sweating.

  • Birdman 2014

What a ride! Genuinely one of the few films I immediately wanted to re-watch right after finishing.

  • Hellion 2014

    ★★½ Watched 24 Jan, 2015 1

While the film has a few heavy moments, it altogether falls a little short.

  • Nightcrawler 2014

    ★★★½ Watched 13 Jan, 2015

Very fascinating character. Definitely would have loved a little more revealed about him in the process. Definitely a fun ride.

  • The Skeleton Twins 2014

Great chemistry between these two. Amazing performances.

  • American Sniper 2014

This character that Bradley Cooper and Clint Eastwood created was unbelievably in sync with me as an audience member. Not once did I disagree or become upset with this protagonist. Instead, it guided me to become absorbed and connected with him which in result made the story, every twist and turn, matter. Definitely a Clint Eastwood film, but a very polished, professional Clint Eastwood film. Also, him being from Texas might have helped.

  • Under the Skin 2013

    ★★★ Watched 07 Jan, 2015

Going into this film knowing nothing, I like the story I interpreted better than what is trying to be portrayed.

You can tell that Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig have a history. Their relationship on screen was amazingly believable when it could have easily been super sappy.

  • Locke 2013

    ★★★ Watched 05 Jan, 2015

Such a stressful way for such a tragic film to play out. Just hurt to watch. Great performance from Tom Hardy.

  • Prisoners 2013

    ★★★ Watched 04 Jan, 2015

Zodiac meets Gone Girl meets Criminal Minds. All three of which I enjoy. However, it didn't have to be two and a half hours. Definitely didn't deserve a spot for Best Cinematography either.

  • The Purge: Anarchy 2014

    ★★★ Watched 04 Jan, 2015

Definitely better than the first. Choice of colors for lighting, however, did not mesh stylistically with the first film. Besides trying to do too much with too many pointless characters, this film was pretty entertaining.

  • Fruitvale Station 2013

    ★★★½ Watched 04 Jan, 2015

Extremely relevant and very moving. A much needed glimpse of empathy for everyone taking sides on the current events.
